Without You

This is an urban gospel soul track. I love to write this style of music! Give me a good ol' Electric Piano and a Hammond Organ and we're in business :). I originally wrote this song and melody back when I was just 19 yrs old. It reflects on my very own personal call from the Lord when I was just 12 years old. "I remember the day that you called me, and the words that you said unto me". Those words were "Come with Me". The background vocal vamp part of this song came later as I matured in my musical journey I was writing songs for my local gospel choir to sing, so there was generally a repetitious vamp the choir would sing while a soloist ad-libbed over it. In the production phase of the song I couldn't help but use the auto tune effect on part of the lead vocal vamp..it sounded too good to me to not use it for effect. I had fun with it, but the message is clear..Without Jesus, I would fall away...Hope you enjoy the track!
